Attar for Women

Peflora's floral attars are built on the flowers Indian perfumery has always used — gulab, mogra, bela and chameli — rather than on a synthetic idea of what a floral should smell like. They are soft, close to the skin, and easy to wear all day.

How to choose

Rose, two ways

Real Rose is the straightforward gulab — clean and recognisable. Rose Gold is warmer and slightly sweet, and it is the one people usually ask about.

Mogra and bela for summer

The white flowers are lighter than rose and sit better in heat. Kaccha Bela in particular reads as fresh rather than heavy.

Something sweeter

Candy, Miss Style and G.L. Flora are the sweeter end of the range — closer to a modern perfume than to a traditional attar.

Layering

Floral attars layer well over a sandalwood base. A dab of chandan first, then rose over it, gives the rose something to sit on and makes it last longer.

Common questions

Which attar is best for women in summer?

The white florals — Mogra, Kaccha Bela and Phool Chameli. They are lighter than rose or oud and do not turn heavy in heat.

Do these attars smell traditional or modern?

Both are on the shelf. Real Rose, Mogra and Chameli are traditional Indian notes; Candy, Miss Style and G.L. Flora are closer to a modern sweet perfume.

Can attar be worn on clothes?

Yes, and it lasts noticeably longer on fabric than on skin. Test on a hidden seam first — fragrance oils can mark delicate or light-coloured material.
